Seagulls terrorizing the neighborhood – everyone’s familiar with these city pets. For Petra van Noort encounters with this animal was a daily business, back in the day when she lived in The Hague. Even now she often spots them trashing up the street, eating our food – or rather stealing it. Her drawings depict the adaptation of the seagull to modern life, becoming more and more brutal and violent in the process. How do we, as a species, relate?
